In-line inspection for ferrous, non-ferrous and stainless-steel contamination in packaged food, grain, agricultural and industrial products.
Automatic Packaging Lines · Metal Detection
The HJR-MD6030 inspects products continuously as they pass through its balanced-coil detection aperture. It identifies ferrous, non-ferrous and stainless-steel contamination, including metal embedded within a product or package.
Digital signal processing, automatic phase tracking and product-recognition functions help control product effect and support stable inspection across recurring products. Up to 100 product settings can be stored for changeovers, while the reversible conveyor simplifies line-layout planning.
Inspect packaged products for ferrous, non-ferrous and stainless-steel contamination during continuous conveying.
Digital processing and automatic phase tracking help distinguish metal signals from the characteristics of the product itself.
Match conveyor height, direction, speed, alarms and the reject method to the surrounding packaging equipment.
Technical Specifications
Reference sensitivity is measured under empty-belt conditions. Final performance must be confirmed with representative products and packaging.
Functions
Store and recall up to 100 product settings to reduce setup time when a production line changes between recurring packages.
Automatic phase tracking and product-effect suppression help maintain stable detection for products with different electrical characteristics.
Select alarm-only, conveyor-stop or automatic rejection according to the package, line speed and quality-control process.
Coordinate belt height, direction and signals with filling, sealing, checkweighing, case-packing and downstream conveyor equipment.
Applications
The HJR-MD6030 is suited to packaged food, rice, grain, seeds, agricultural products and compatible industrial goods that fit the aperture and conveyor load. Installation is commonly planned after filling or sealing and before case packing, palletizing or dispatch.
Inspect finished bags, pouches, cartons or other stable packages for metal contamination before secondary packaging.
Combine metal detection with checkweighing and an application-specific reject system to create a defined inspection point in the packaging process.
Selection Information
Send the product name and composition, package material, product and package dimensions, product weight, target throughput, required detectable metal sizes, belt height and direction, preferred reject action, electrical standard and installation environment. Product moisture, salt content and temperature can affect detection, so representative sample testing is recommended before final selection.
Related Inspection Equipment
Pair metal detection with the HJR-CW12060 dynamic checkweigher to inspect both metal contamination and package weight within an integrated automatic packaging line.
